DRUG PREVENTION MOBILE CLASSROOM HAS BEEN "REACTIVATED" / WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THOSE THAT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF DRUG PREVENTION THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.

Malheur County Fair August 2 -5, 2006,

The MX POWER TEAM Mobile Classroom was on site at the Malheur County Fair. We are excited to be part of the

Safety Court team. The BLM, City, and School presence makes the safety court a fun and educational place for families to attend.

A lot of the youth came through our trailer and the various sites. We recorded over 500 people receiving the MX Power Team souvenir water bottle. The City of Ontario booth gave out gifts to hundreds of people. Our trailer was able to donate 3 FLY Racing Tee shirts, 2 Fly racing Visors, 100 Fly Racing competition stickers, and 1 Cap.

We have seen at least one of the Fly racing Tee Shirts on a teenager just last week. She was a winner in the City of Ontario drawings. Gentry Ford had a 2007 Ford F350 for us to tow our trailer into the fair. Thanks for that! Fly Racing gave out some great high quality gifts for the youth. They really want our youth to stay drug free. Without the faithful, generous sponsors we would not have the funding to drive our trailer to various sites in the state.

Look at our Sponsor Page and give them your business.

ATV PROGRAM COMPLETED!

Now we look forward to the Malheur County Fair days.

With all the activities in June we are very thankful for each of our volunteer helpers. Without each of you these programs could not be offered to youth. With out our sponsors to keep us in the Black we could not pay for these vital programs.

Between the two event locations we had over 35 students go through the safety class rotations. They received a completion certificate and we gave out 10 free drawing gifts for Fly Racing. The Tee Shirts and Fly Visors where the popular items.

Ian Caldwell from Oregon Parks and Recreation had a great display of training props, with his training trailer, four wheelers, hundreds of training brochures. Our very own MX Power Team drug prevention trailer met with the students and Becky, Jacquelle our teen role model ambassadors gave the presentations and did a fabulous job.

See you at the Malheur County Fair in August.

I look back on this event with great satisfaction. The speakers (Marco and Chris) helped each of the youth attending this event to take a deep look at their life. From Elementary to Middle school age youth found that drug us was definitely not the way to go.

Our prevention team was great with the skits they preformed. Gem State Academy from Caldwell Idaho played a huge role in working with and for the youth attending this event. Our sound system made it so real for the kids. If you didn’t attend this event you did miss the energy that can only come from youth with a health lifestyle message.

10 Motorcycle youth, 7 guys and 3 girls, drug free racers wanting to show off their talents. That is exactly what they did too. Great whips, jumps, wheelies and wide-open action! But the news I received about the kids after the event was they were very touched by the event and reflected very seriously about the choices they will be making in their future.

Enjoy our Web site keep us on your mind and support our sponsors that support us!
Craig “Bonsi” Bonson.
